Thanks for the help folks. At this point, it appears that all of them went through w/out a problem. I think I'm alright!

here is the USPS rate sheet:

look under RETAIL FLATS FIRST CLASS...and let's hope your envelopes are 1 oz. or under {up}

The price for sending a 9X12 in the US is 0.80 so your 2 0.41 stamps should be ok.

Usually I leave the return address blank on the SASE or put my own on it and then if there IS a problem, it comes to me anyway--I'd be happy to pay what is owed as long as I get my mail. :D

with the postage increase, it should be .97 but I received one last week with the old rate on it so I guess its up to the post office whether to enforce the rates right now

I don't know, I rather be safe then sorry. I put 2 $.41 and 1 $.24 stamp. :D That's just me, I do want to get something back and most of the time the post office doesn't post mark my envelopes so I just reuse the stamps anyways. :D

I really appreciate your input 588luver. I really hope you are right. What does everyone else think? Let me know!!!

If you are sending in the US that should be fine. On mine I have been putting 1 $.37 and 1 $.23 and they have all been fine, even with the postage increase.

Today I sent out a bunch of 9x12 envelopes w/ a 9x12 sase and letter inside each but only put two $0.41 stamps on each envelope. I am hoping these don't get returned to me. Looking back, I maybe should have added more postage, but I'm not sure. Could anyone give me some feedback as to whether or not these sase envelopes will go through? I did not use any cardboard or anything. By the way, this is in the United States that I am sending them in. I sent one out a week ago yesterday like that and it has not been returned to me yet, so I may be ok!
