I think sometimes the letters get passed onto the agency, but sometimes it will be signed there and then.

I wrote to Avril Lavigne at a concert a while ago, and recieved a reply a couple of days later as though it had just been put in the postbag of the concert venue.

Like Alice Walker said though, post it so it will arrive a few days before and just address it as Greenday, c/o Venue adress.

I don't think that they'd sign it right then and there. It's just like sending to an agency, in a way. The mail gets passed from the venue to the management (if the venue forwards fanmail) and it piles up to a time when the band has time to read letters.

Hope this helps.

I mean they're not at the place for very long, only a couple hours I guess, so how could they have time to sign it?

Yes-- just send it to the venue...

I usually post mine off to the venue 5 days before the concert... but I am not the greatest with via venue requests.

I was wondering, since Green Day are on tour, could I send a picture to be autographed to the place they will be performing?
