Thanks nowandagain :)

2 8x10s (which is the most I'd be sending to get back) are 39g. So for the next few letters I'll stick a bit more postage on. Does anyone know what the best stamps to add on would be?

Hi Zorin :D

I received a 9x12 envelope from the US back the other day with $1.07 in postage on it.

Obviously, it's going to depend on how heavy your envelope is, but postal prices for a large envelope sent to the UK/Europe/Australia are as follows:

$1.07 10g (.35 oz)
$1.07 20g (.70 oz)
$1.80 40g (1.40 oz)
$2.70 60g (2.10 oz)
$2.70 80g (2.80 oz)
$3.60 100g (3.50 oz)

So, unless your package weighs less than 40g, you may be a bit short on postage. However, many celebrities will add a little bit of extra postage on your envelopes if required. Don't worry!

Does anyone know if 2 84c stamps and a 2c stamp are enough to get from the US to the UK. Its an envelope which is slightly bigger than 8x10.

Sorry just a bit worried as I have a lot of US requests pending and I've not had a US reply since the postage has increased.

it affects all mail being sent from America, because they are travelling through the US postal system.

I was just wondering if it only affects letter travelling within America or does it affect letters travelling to Europe from the US?
