Hey there -

From what I've heard, Schmitt is very kind in person. He will stop to talk and chat and even pose for photographs. But, he will not sign. I suppose that it wouldn't hurt to try but know that he isn't known to be the best in person signer.

When I first started to collect, I collected only astronaut autographs. I was able to obtain Harrison Schmitt's autograph through a Novaspace Signing. I wouldn't say that it's impossible, but it seems that the only way that you can get your item signed by him would be through a Novaspace Signing. Novaspace occasionally hosts signings for many Apollo Era astronauts. (Schmitt included) Their website is: http://www.novaspace.com

Sorry for the disappointing news, but I hope this helps!

Does anyone know how good of an IP signer Harrison Schmitt, 12th man on the moon, is?
