i keep them...but like most everyone here, i really do hate getting them! {down} {down} {down} i guess the only thing worth keeping them is to use them as a reference to compare signatures...but yeah, i don't even use them for that! *lol* i just keep them a box -- away from the actual signed autographs i have received.

The one exception, I wrote to Juan Pablo Montoya recently, Knowing he didn't sign thru the mail, I gave it a shot thinking his switch to NASCAR he might have loosened up and would actually sign. I received a gold foil stamped postcard which I promptly ripped up and threw in the trash.
Stamps aren't even funny! At least a preprint can be framed to look ok but stamps are hideous. They completely ruin photo's!

i keep my PP's because it is counted as a success and that way i know that i have this person. most of my pp's are the Harry Potter cast and they don't send authentics. SFM i don't keep because i can always get more if i wanted to.

Personally I don't think preprints are worth the paper they are printed on as it's not a real autograph and you haven't got the satisfaction of knowing a celebrity actualy touched and signed the photo you recieve. It will also be completely worthless in years to come as it's not a real signature.

I just wondered what other people's views are on this subject? {thumb2}
My opinion on preprints is as follows -> I hate them. They are not a real autograph, they are a waste of my time, effort and money, and I also consider tham an insult. They also give me the impression that the celeb in question doesnt care about their fans at all.

I know people say "they're a copy of the original", which is true, but if you're happy with a PP you may as well save stamps and print one off the internet.

Nammzi wrote:Also, StudioFanMail aen't just notorious for sending out PP's, they only send out PP's. They are a company that works with many celebrities, and never send out anything but PP's :(
Studio Fan Mail sends out autopens as well as preprints :)

When i do receive them, they go into a larger picture slip with the other pre-prints i have. Then i store them away in the back of my autograph binder!! I don't know why i keep them, but i do! :lol:
