It did sound odd, thats all.. what would you think if someone posted a message saying a well known footballer (for example) wrote me a hand written letter inviting me to his house to play football?

I fully believe you, it's just the way your message was posted that has caused confusion.

His name is angel romero, the maestro of the spanish guitar. I wrote to his manager and his manager sent me a signed cd and inside the package was a hand writen letter and signed cd cover. The letter said i heard you like the guitar, i would like to hear you so come over to my house if you are ever in california, it also gave his address but i think his home address should remain private. The Romeros are a family of guitarist very well known for being generous when it comes to young guitar players. I am somewhat offended that you would even think that i would lie about something like that.

I sent a email to a very well known guitarist and he sent me a signed cd and a written letter invitation to come to his house and play guitars together.

you usually just write a normal letter and sometimes as a bonus a clebrity may give you an extra thing or two. A lot of times with charity collecting you recieve a lot of memorbilla. But it s really just if the celeb is nice.
