On 6/2/07 I sat down and decided to send some requests to several Myspace Profiles to about 25 people. I guess I was extremely bored...lol.

I got one back. Dave Sheridan. He sent me a kind of crumpled autograph, a CD of his band "Van Stone" (Explicite Lyrics) and the new Linkin Park CD (still in wrap) and even some of his mail, it was some sort of Hollywood Report...lol. So I now have his actual home address.

It looked like he just picked up this huge padded envelope and went around the house thinking "I'll add this and this and this...lol. Pretty cool though to recieve 2 brand new CDs.

He use to be an intern at SNL and he is the co-writer of the old show Buzz-Kill back in the day. Now he travels with this his band Van Stone, he plays a charater named Randy Stone. [url]http://www.getvanstoned.com[/url], it's a fun read.

SO even though I spent time copy and pasting a request to 25 people i think my Dave Sheridan was a success.

I would not waste my time sending any requests to Myspace accounts unless you are utterly bored and are out of postage...lol!

I don't think Myspace is a good way to get autographs. I've tried to get autographs from a few celebrities who have legitimate Myspace pages, but I've never received anything from them.

Please dont bump threads after just an hour, its totally unnecessary.

The reason I stated 98% of them are fake is because a lot of people assume they're all legit and then go sending off their address to someone who they dont know.

like their actual official myspace or band page

i agree i prefer to write to them through their agents or a email address that people have tried and received authentics back {thumb2} i don't go on myspace anyway find it boring :) {down}
