I have read on a Yahoo site, that he only accepts fanmail, if its sent to his fanclub. But I have heard of 100's of replys from the address in the datebase.

The amazing thing is that that address, is either his office or studio, I know that, cos I read it on a site. So its in his best intrest to get you to write elsewhere.

One man had recieved, at least 10 replys from James!!!! WOW.

Anyway, I happy so much have had success with him.

I always wonder about that too--not with Mr. Garner, but others. I wrote Sean Bean in August of last year and others got successes around the first of this year, but I didn't get a reply so I kind of gave up.

Then at the beginning of August (almost a year later) I got one of my SASE's from England and I could not think who it was! When I opened it up, there was the photo I sent to Mr. Bean!

There is no way to know if your letter was lost in the mail, lost by the celebrity or assistant/agent, ignored, or just not signed yet. There is always hope. {thumb2}

Thanks for you kind answers, yes I do have some trust in Mr Garner. But I saw quite a few replys from letters sent weeks and weeks after mine got replys.

And going back, to replys over two and a half years, he never takes more then 6 weeks ever!

It may have been lost in the post but highly unlikely.

However, once I got a Letter from the US, six weeks after it was sent!!

But there agian this is unlikely,this time.

Just because other people have had successes in a matter of weeks doesn't mean that everyone will. I sent out to Elizabeth Hurley months ago and haven't had a reply back, yet other people have had succees in weeks

It could just be that they are busy doing something, and that they are putting signing on hold for a bit, or it could be that your mail got lost. I would wait a few more months and if you still get no reply then try sending again

Hi I wrote to Mr Garner quite a time back, and used the address that everyone seems to get an answer from. However the months have passed by and no answer?

It cost me £5 or $10, to send to the US. Not exactly cheap. I sent a nice letter, 3 internatoinal reply coupons, and a return envolope, with my address. But nothing at all?

I have already got replys from the US before!!!

All his replys are always from 2-6 weeks, never more, so months and months means to me no answer what have I done wrong.

Only because he is one of my fav actors, I sent another one out. But I really dont know.
