It kind of shows that the presence of a famous person has been near the thing has been signed :mrgreen:

I suppose it stems from the fact people have always signed important documents. Perhaps a signature is seen as something valuable that you can give to another person? That's just an opinion. I don't actually have the faintest idea lol! :D

how did autographs become so worthy? i have always wondered how a autograph became as valuable a item as it is today

i dont mean this as a shot at collectors because i am a fairly big collector myself
