I have a hard time holding a pen and I haven't even thought about quitting. I guess I'll quit when everyone is a celebrity... LOL. Even with the cost of postage going up, I won't quit. This is the most fulfilling hobby I have ever had and also the cheapest. Why would anyone quit?

I don't know that there is really a necessary point to quit writing. I'll probably quit when I can't afford it, or when I don't find it enjoyable anymore.

Hobbies are supposed to be fun, when it's not fun for you anymore, then perhaps it's time to bow out.

I agree. There isn't a set time for you to quit. It's just more of a personal individual decision.
I also agree with citrusgirl, we may get VERY frustrated with your grammar and punctuation, but asking questions is VERY important in this hobby. Also, i think that writing letters will benefit you alot in your grammar skills. The more you write, the more you'll learn about proper grammar and punctuation.
So, I dont think you should quit anytime soon!

As rpbluesman said, there is no specific time to quit. Reasons to quit are if it's too pricy or if there is a personal mishap that gives you the feel to quit. I think it's great that you always ask questions because you will probably one day be a great, knowledgable moderator! Don't quit now, unless you really feel you should.

Well there's really no set-in-stone reason to quit. I think that if can afford the stamps, envelopes, etc then go for it. You're right in it being a rewarding hobby. There's no denying it. If you get everyone you could possibly want, then I guess you could quit then, but as for now I think you'd do good to stay in it
