May be it wouldn't be a very valuable for collectioners , but for an ordinary fan like me it would means the world...*sigh*
Half of me feels the same way about celebs like Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, and Stevie Nicks. It'd be nice to know there was a chance of getting something back if I put my resources--time, stamp money, and heart--into sending them a sincere fan letter. :oops:

That's why I have two different collection books. One has only authentics that might one day be worth something if I pass it down to my son and/ or show it to "serious collectors". The other I call "pictures" and it has AP's and PP's/ anything from Studio Fanmail that I impulse ordered.

I tend to stick the possible secretarials in with the authentics for now.

Anyway, the other part of me that wants to become a serious collector hates the fakes.

Who's to say I can't have it all or at least both ways?

but well, who can be sure that there aren't some people in the actor's agency who sign instead of the actor ?..... :shock:
I always worry about that when it comes to certain celebs to be honest :lol: think to myself 'what if some agent or whoever's sitting there laughing at my letter and just takes it upon their self to sign' :?

Well yes, great point, but if you write to a celeb, Via venue, you have a good chance, of a real autograph.

But check the postmark. Thankfully everything I have got back Via venue, has the same post mark, as the place where the venue is.

Yeah ...I know that everyone can print some autographs *lol*
Of course I would be ways more happy if I have an original autograph, but what I wanted to say was,that if I can't have original for one or other reason, PP will show that at least the agency do some job... :lol: I know that it is not the same like original.That was why I called the PP -" the worst case". ;-)

but well, who can be sure that there aren't some people in the actor's agency who sign instead of the actor ?..... :shock: ...To be really sure that we have an original signature, we should go to some event and take our autographs personally.... :lol:

I would gladly have a PP. Even a PP means for me that the actor or his agency care at least a bit... :D

I'm completely different - I'm an ordinary fan too who doesn't care about the monetary value of autographs, but I absolutely DETEST a preprint/autopen/stamp etc. I like to think the celeb I've written to has read my letter, and has used his/her own hand to sign their signature. I might as well just print some celeb's autograph off this site if I wanted a preprint :D but it's cool that you enjoy them! {up}

Is it that hard to treat all his fans equal ????? If he can't send personalized autographs, he just can send a simple signature. To make his fans feel good. I'm sure that most of the people wouldn't mind if they got a simple signature. Better than none.
Thats probably why many mayor celebrities dont sign TTM at all. They would never be able to sign an autograph to each and every one of their fans, so instead of making just a few ones lucky and leaving all the other ones without anything, they send out PP's to everyone.
