If he is someone who sends PPs or rarely through fan mail address, then maybe you should write to him vv if he signs good.

I would write to his fanmail address. If filming doesnt start until late spring early summer. If you dont hear from him by the time filming starts write to him via venue.

So I have a decision to make!

I want to mail one of my favorite actors of all time, though I found out he will start fiiming around late spring-early summer of this year.

I have two choices:

Write to where he is filming this year and hope to recieve a reply there once he starts filiming.

OR

Just write now before he starts filming to his fan mail address.

Sorry, I am terrible at making decisions ha ha.
