That's a very good point/tip. When writing to a celeb I always use Sir/Madam, and never call them by their first name as they're not my friend. They're usually older than me too. {thumb2}

I agree. Alot of celebrities are well educated and are more likely to take a well written letter more seriously. I always type mine on my computer to spell check it and then write it out. I also tell them about my collection and sometimes even have a printout showing my walls covered in autographs. I even print up stationary with my photo on top so they can see what I look like. It's the next best thing to in person I could think of. I try to make each letter as personal as I can, and from my success rate (95%), I think it works well. Honestly, I have had only 9 failures through the mail, including 3 rts and 1 request for money (Majel Barrett-Roddenberry. As if she wasn't already loaded), and I've been writing for over 3 years. Anyway, Happy Birthday. How old are you now. I stopped counting at 35 (LOL).
