Hi again.

United Agents' move to their new premises has been delayed, so in the meantime mail can now be sent to their temporary premises in Shaftesbury Avenue. The address is on the homepage of their website:

Hi there, Lizanne.

I hope Shambler, who replied to your question, doesn't mind an update from me. The events at PFD have been reported in the media and financial sections of the UK press since about this time last year. David Buchler has not left PFD, but rather the PFD agents have left him. Almost all the agents at PFD left the company between August 2007 and January 2008 to set up United Agents, following a fairly long-running dispute with the management of CSS Stellar, who acquired PFD in 2001. Those who left include James McAvoy's agent, Ruth Young.

James is currently mentioned on UA's homepage:

http://unitedagents.co.uk/

and here's his CV on the UA site:

http://unitedagents.co.uk/film/james-mcavoy/

United Agents are currently in temporary premises but expect to move into a permanent new home in Covent Garden in a couple of weeks' time. They have requested that no mail for those they represent be sent to their temporary address; their permanent address will be made available in due course.

I hope this helps.

The post below is far more comprehensive and informative than mine. Thank you millhandC19!

Agency: PFD = United Agents?

Helloe everyone! ;-)

I don't know if it's always been like this or if it's new, but is the UK agency PFD now United Agents? I first noticed this when I saw some stars, like Keira Knightley, James McAvoy and Charlie Cox, weren't listed anymore at PFD's official website. I'm asking this because now I'm unsure about a few things:
- Should I now write to people like Knightley and McAvoy at the United Agents address?
- Can one still write to the PFD address?
- Does United Agents pass on fan mail like PFD did?

I will apprecaite some info on this issue very much! :D I'm quite confused about this, I just discovered it!

Thank you very much,
Lizanne
