good luck {up} but they might think that you are a dealer or something, or you my never get it back
it wouldn't even cross my mind of sending my signed gerrard shirt ttm in case it gets lost or stolen.

Thanks very much for the help, I think I will sent it on to Frank (I have got a response from him before) then to Owen and Rooney - a 4X signed shirt would be great!

Of the players you listed, these are their TTM signing habits -

Robinson, Paul (Sends signed clubcards, not seen him sign anything sent to him)
Neville, Gary (VERY rarely signs)
Cole, Ashely (VERY rarely signs)
Ferdinand, Rio (VERY rarely signs)
Terry, John (Signs sometimes, but some people have tried 5 or more times with no luck)
Hargreaves, Owen (Sends signed clubcards, not seen him sign anything sent to him)
Lampard, Frank (Signs sometimes, but some people have tried 5 or more times with no luck)
Cole, Joe (NEVER signs)

As for sending a shirt to multiple people, I was going to send my Owen signed shirt out to others (I mentioned this elsewhere months ago) but still have yet to do it. Its a case of "would you mind losing it after it had been signed by a few people?". Answer that and you have your answer.

Well my main plan is to write to the players whose autograph I already have in some way so that it doesn't matter so much if I lose it,

I am 100% sure that M.Owen (Newcastle) signs, and 95% sure that F.Lampard signs, so if I was you, I would send it firsti to Owen and then to Lampard.

Good luck!

It's hard enough getting a club card out of Ferdinand, Neville and Hargreaves, so I don't know how much of a chance you stand with them as they tend to sign erratically. Its always best to find out who the player's agents are, then phone them and ask if the player will be willing to sign a shirt if you send one through. Good luck! :)

Thanks very much for the advice. Does anyone know whether the following players sign shirts?
Robinson, Paul
Neville, Gary
Cole, Ashely
Ferdinand, Rio
Terry, John
Hargreaves, Owen
Lampard, Frank
Cole, Joe
I know owen and rooney sign TTM for shirts but I thing you get the picture of what I'm trying...

I'd send to players who you know for sure do sign, like Rooney and Owen. Send it via registered mail though. It's also better to try do something then sit and wonder forever if you could've had your shirt autographed by more than one of the lads
