I usually just put my address only, but someone mentioned on another thread with the exact same subject :roll: that if you put your address on both the addressee and the return address part of the envelope, if it is short on stamps it will get returned to you for more postage.

That is a good concept, however I'm not sure if it is true because I have had envelopes sent to me that say "you must pay X cents" with or without a return address.

Not at all.I do it sometimes. at least you know the envelope will come back to you :)

I usually do. That way the envelope should always be returned to me. I never heard of the post office frowning upon it. As long as you have sufficient postage I don't think they really care.
