hey guys as alot of you know i badly wanted to meet mookie wilson(this isnt another thread about how upset i am he cancelled so keep reading this is a qusteion thats been buggin me) and i wanted him to sign the book the bad guys won( about the 1986 new york mets) ,and a foul ball from shea stadium( i dont live in new york but i got it when i was on vacation their) anyway mookie cancelled the signing last second. pat tabler signed instead i got his autograph on a different ball and on the progam for the days blue jay game, i didnt want him to sign either item(the book or foul ball) as he only played 17 games for the mets in 1990(so my first qustion is do you think that was smart not having him sign mets items as he didnt play for them long and having him sign blue jays items instead as he won his only world series ring with them) anyway because mookie cancelled i planned to get david cone to sign the book and ball instead when he has his autograph signing july 11 ,but tonight i realized he wanst on the 1986 mets ,do you think it would be ok if he signed the book thou as he was a longtime met even thou he wanst on that team? and im going to get him to sign the foul ball from shea thou as theirs no specific year for that. but ya do you think its ok for someone who played for a team for a long time sign a item with his teams logo and if he wasnt on the team that particular season?
