Maybe - It depends because, as said, they could just be having a bad day or something - and that's fine, we all have bad days! But if they were clearly just stuck-up, I'd definitely lose respect for them and probably wouldn't be very interested in an autograph anymore.
I think it would be best to just say in one of the letter's that you've already wrote to a different address, and explain that you weren't sure which address was valid. There's no harm done in explaining this to them anyway, and it would be best that way just in case they do realise you've sent two...
