Well that's interesting, thanks for sharing! I wonder why there's such a big difference between borderless and bordered...it seems to me like borderless would work fine AND take longer to print. I'm definitely gonna keep this in mind next time I send out!

Well, I generally buy a box of 9x12 envelopes which is around $5/$6 and comes with 25/box. Then I get a large pack of cardstock (250 sheets) for around $5 (to print my photos) or a pack of matte photo paper (100 sheets) for around $20. I can't speak for everyone, but I tend to avoid the high gloss things because mine always smear. Now I either print on cardstock (it adds a bit of extra rigidity and it doesn't look bad either) or matter photo paper. Other than that, I'm not sure what you can do ^^
