How much does your average letter cost to send?

For me, I need to buy stamps, envelopes and IRCs. I'd estimate around 6-7 dollars a piece, though I have done over 10 in my 'newbie' days, I think. :) Just curious.. yeah.. actually, I remember writing it once on this humongous pink letter to Johnny Depp.. I laughed at my own letter (because of the #1 thing) that I'd spent over 4 hours on, but didn't want to use white-out on it and sent it like that. Never used it since. Yeah.. I'm trying to find another way to word what everyone else has written .. :P

In other words, I end mine like everyone elses' as well :D Works like a charm ;)
