It doesn't matter but be sure to include a small (or large) donation to her cause.

Doris will sign one item (even without a donation) but donations are always nice. I'm on the email list for the animal foundation and Doris will send out mass emails as well as the foundation and the foundation said she NEVER likes asking for donations--however, I think if she made public appearances or even did conventions from time to time, she could earn SO much for the foundation!
