Do you know if I would need international stamps to send a letter? And will I need international stamps to have something sent back? Or can I just use a ton of US stamps?

If you add a self addressed stamped envelope, it usually doubles your chances of success

No, I know that I have several autographs. My question is do I need international stamps if I am sending an autograph request internationally?

Yes, if you send a letter from england to USA you need british stamps. If you send a letter from USA to UK you need US stamps.
