Post Historic/military addresses here

Unread post by 617ttmdan »

While Fanmail.biz is great for celebrity addresses, Historic and military addresses are much hard to find. Im creating this thread, so everyone interested in Historic and military figures can have an easier time. Some ideas of the type of addresses to post include MOH recipients, fighter pilots/ aces, (im trying to find some of these, PLEASE post if you know an address for one!), JFK assassination related, inventors, other heroes, and anything else that fits this category! I would personally appreciate it, as would many others! The more people who post here, the better it will be. I have a bunch of the addresses for the categories i listed above, so pm me if you want to request one! (i have too many to post in this comment). Good luck!

Happy collecting! :D

I have a few JFK assassination autos, Gerald Blaine, James Tague, James Lavelle. Dolores Black, Henry Hill, Roberts S. McNamara, Eli Weisel, Tommy Franks, CSM Basil Plumley, Joseph Galloway, Gene Kranz, Dale Dye, Colin Powell. Thats a few that I can remember right now. I've been looking for an address for Lt. General Hal Moore and General William Garrison but havent had any luck. If anyone is interested in the addresses for the above listed names I will be glad to give them (with the exception of Henry Hill and Robert S. McNamara)

I am a Military Historian and I am moving into collecting signatures and signed photos, but everyone seems to be stingy with the addresses, many people are selling them on Ebay for $10 for a 3x5 signed index card. I would also like to correspond with our vets as I am also working on collecting photos and historic accounts to compile into displays for a few of our National Museums.

If anyone can help me out with some addresses, I am interested in the following:

All WWII:
Medal of Honor Recipients
Black Sheep Squadron
Doolittle Raiders
Band of Brothers
Ship Sinking Survivors (USS Arizona, all others)
Submariners
Tank Aces
Pilot Aces (Naval, Army Air Corp, Marines)
WAVES/WASPS/WAACS
Air Warden/Civil Defense
Local Heroes
Bataan Death March Survivors
Cabanatuan Survivors
Corregidor Survivors/Staff/Personnel
Midway, Pearl Harbor, and other Veterans famous or not so if you have a grandfather or Great Grandfather

German Pilot Aces
German Tank Aces
Italian Aces
Italian Submariners
Romanian, Eastern European

Russian Aces
Russian "Night Witches" female pilots
Russian Tank Aces
Heroes of Russia

Japanese Aces
Japanese Commanders (Naval and Army)

And last but never least, POW's and Holocaust Survivors.

If you have an address or several or know someone please help me get in touch with them.

Thanks!

I also know it is a long shot, but does anyone have any Eagle Squadron or Flying Tigers former members addresses?
