Just a quick couple of questions. How many celebrities have email addresses that can be found on the internet? Dose the email work better than actually sending a letter? Does anyone have a complete list with names and emails?

How many, that's difficult to answer, depending on the type of email address you're trying to get. Generally though, you're not going to find a personal email address posted, unless perhaps it's on a Web site like this and usually in those cases it's still a professional one.

It's been my experience that any celebrity that has a Web site can be reached by email (usually if you look up the Web site, it will at least give an email address of who it is registered to and you can use that as a springbroad for contact if all else fails as far as email).

Also many singers and performers include their management contact email on their Web sites.

I do not use email often but I have used it to contact some pretty big stars and got results, because I dealt directly with their management team. (I contacted John Travolta, Barbara Walters, and Kris Kristofferson all by email and received personalized 8X10 autographs from each of them.)

There is not an email database (MovieEye used to include email addresses, this site doesn't seem to be too keen on email though).

As far as replies it's generally always better to send a letter/SASE via snail mail.

However stamps, paper and ink and envelopes are all expensive, not to mention photos and paper. You may want to contact them first by email and then if you don't get a reply contact them by regular mail.

I dont know because i have got the celeb that i want fan mail but i dont know how to send it via
Gmail, any help because it would be toats cool!!!!

With fan mail, it's never guaranteed that you will get something back. For bigger stars, there's always a chance that someone's management team has signed promo photos, and you can try finding a private email for them. You never know, if you will get something back, but it's a gigantic payoff, if you do. It's better to look for an email for big stars who don't reply TTM. I've gotten some pretty big stars through email this way. For stars who do reply TTM, it's better to send regular mail, since they might not have an email. Plus, it's more personal to send hand written snail mail, if they do reply.

yes I contacted him through his Web site 3 or 4 years ago he even wrote out my full name, here is a scan of it

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me, what I meant was why do you think your Travolta success is real when nothing that comes from that address or numerous other is?
