Contacting John Milius

Hello,
My name is Ryan Nelson. I am a PhD student at UC-Berkeley who specializes in modern Southeast Asian history, particularly non-communist Vietnam, 1964 to 1967. As part of my thesis, I am currently researching the Saigon Daily News' coverage of Jo Collins' visit to Bien Hoa airbase in early-1966, the 1965 Playmate of the Year. I have read that Jo's visit later inspired John Milius to include the Playboy bunnies storyline in Apocalypse Now. This may be a long shot, but I am looking to be put in contact with John to possibly confirm this apparent connection between the movie and Jo's visit, in addition to discussing other details about the storyline.
