Firstly, I agree with James... it takes a lot to get an authentic from Colin, but when you do you can tell. I remember getting a photo back once that had a dedicated signature with a very defined signature, you could read every letter more or less. I then, shortly after got a 10x8 (unusual at the time when he sent out 6x4 headshots) with a more scribbled signature. It's clear to me which is real.

As for getting auction items... sure, if that's the way you choose to do it, go for it. It's not how I would go around fundraising but each to their own. I'm looking forward to seeing how much money comes in from those, and wish you luck hitting that £2k target you set.
