Steve Vai Success

This one took awhile. I sent photos, SAE, return postage, and LOR to what I believed to be Steve Vai's home address in July, 2013. I wasn't worried about the time to get them back since I knew that he has a rigorous touring schedule. However, I did receive them back Feb. 4, 2014, for a grand total of seven months. In his letter, he says that he just returned from touring. He was gracious to sign all my stuff, even though I sent way too much because I was still new to collecting then. He also added a photo, guitar picks, and a paper that has seeds embedded that will grow in soil. Awesome success!

Congrats! I met him while he was doing a show here in Finland. Awesome guy, great guitar player and super nice to his fans!
We were waiting him after the show and when he came from the backstage he said: "Sorry that it took so long!" and we had waited for 30 minutes

No, it was a residential address. He does however have an address on his website's FAQ page you can send to. I found it after I sent to his house.

Very cool success. I hosted an instore appearance with him and Eric Johnson years ago during a G3 tour. Super nice guys.
