I just wanted to comment on this comment you said that I quoted. I don't agree that it would be "out of their hands.." if they did the proper research and asked the pros about it, (and not trade fakes before getting the answers) it wouldn't be out of their hands. IMO it would be their fault for trading an item that's not real.caitlinrosee wrote:However, they themselves traded for the autograph, so if it's not authentic, it would have been out of their hands.
A valid point. They've been running the company for a long time though, and they're trustworthy people, so I'd have to say if they were tricked, it was by a really good trickster. They only do trades with specific people and companies, not just random people off the street. In general, I'd say you're absolutely right, but in this specific case, I trust that if they traded for a fake autograph, it was by someone who really knew what they were doing and they simply made a mistake.dancingirl1 wrote:I just wanted to comment on this comment you said that I quoted. The company I got it from is a small business that mostly deals with sports autographs, but there's a COA from "Hollywood Memories" that came with it.
I know better than to automatically assume that because there's a COA that it's legit, though, so I wanted to ask
