Robert Redford

Ok. I know this is going to start a debate but I'm going to post this anyway.

I was wondering about his autographs being authentic for a long time now. I see that his fanmail address is in Utah but most envelopes that people receive back have PA stamped on them. That's like 1700 miles difference. I don't have any other proof then the different locations except that about 20 years ago my dad sat next to him on a plane. I'm not really sure what he was doing flying coach but anyway. My dad said that about half the people on the plane asked him for his autograph and he turned down every single person by saying that he wasn't Robert Redford. Finally after a while a little girl came up and asked him for his autograph and he turned her down saying that he would just like his privacy. My dad never talked to him or even really said anything other than hello. When the plane landed my dad got off and waited for his business partner to get off. When the two met up my dad said you will never guess who I just sat next to and as soon as he told him Robert walked buy and turned around and gave my dad a salute. Probably my favorite story my dad has ever told me. Now I'm sure this isn't very good evidence but it does show that he doesn't like to sign autographs or at least he never liked to at the time.
