My kids first mailday success from Brett Favre real or fake
I had my son write a few letters to some NFL players and the first one he got back was Brett Favre he sent it out on 10/26/10 and received it back on 11/19/10.Why when I try to attach the picture it tells me sorry the board attachment quota has been reached.

Those appear to be authentic, based on other examples I've seen of his signature!
Congratz!!

That's awesome! I'm glad to see your a collector for the fun of it, and not for the money that could be made off these.
I'm wishing you and your son the best of luck with all his requests!

I hate that people have turned this into a business and taken the hobby/fun out of it, I could never understand they buy a pack/box get a Peterson,Manning,Bradford auto etc.... and want to make hundreds of dollars off of it....I try to find people who will trade something they have and don't collect for something I have that I don't collect and so on.RYAN J. wrote:That's awesome! favre has usually been a prick with regards to signing. he used to send stamps, which these are not.
i have no idea and they look authentic but it would be hard for me to believe these are authentic based on his signing habits over the years.
where did you send the items to? was it c/o foundation or c/o team?

I sent them to the Minnesota Vikings in Eden Prairie,MN c/o Brett Favre, maybe in the mist of all the bad publicity he felt he had to get back on the good side of the fans who knows they look real and my kids love them I will get them authenticated at some time.

Bizzare success. The one on the left definately looks like a stamp. The one on the right I have to say is ghost signed/secretarial. Notice how after the v in Favre it stops then starts as shown in the red box to make the loop. That's a common occurence with someone TRYING to replicate someones signature. Had Favre signed it it would be in one fluid motion.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The one on the left is not a stamp and the one on the right I did noticed that and compared with others at my LCS and there are alot that look like that, I did tell my wife that maybe he does have someone sign all the request that he gets but who knows I'll just have to send them in to get authenticated.
