So because they're "one of the biggest" means we should ignore the many, MANY mistakes they've madein the past?
"In the past" as you have stated
My point is, they were "one of the biggest and most reputeable" when they made the mistakes. If they couldn't get it right then, how can they be fully trusted now?
Thats like saying "mr_monopoly sold 100s of fakes on ebay, but hes legit now so you can fully trust him".

A notable authentication company - PSADNA's previous authentication errors does not equal an ebay scammer selling fakes.
This is an intellitual autograph discussion and me and Andy do not have anything against each other - it is only out views that differ. In other words, there is no need to lock this thread.

PSA DNA is an absolute joke and making comments that they are deemed the best in the business is totally untrue. The majority of veteran autograph collectors deem them as a joke.
In my opinion the best thing you can do is compare and decide for yourself if something is authentic or not. Find a few reputable UACC dealers, buy a few books with authentic examples and/or advice on how to authenticate autographs. Learn the differences between pp, ap, secretarials, etc. Then if you still really don't know you can always pay for someones ''opinion". Cause that's all you'll get with PSA/DNA or any other authentication service. Someones "opinion". You can ask isitreal.com or even autographworld.com. Or you can ask on a forum like this one. I personally don't trust PSA/DNA. Too many bad stories, and too many mistakes. The main reason being that some of their employees work directly with certain dealers, or in some cases they even are dealers themselves, which is a major conflict of interest imo. They aren't the best in the business, only the biggest. But I would stay away from them.
Just my own two cents worth, and not to win favour with anyone : PSA/DNA are NOT to be trusted. If you have done any research or reading up on the topic of third party authentication, you will know this..
They have a well documented reputation of accepting dirty money from dealers, to slap a 'certificate of authenticity' on fake items. Andy and Capt.Chaos are absolutely spot on.
AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL. LATEST SUCCESSES :Liam Lawrence, Ashley Young, Daniel Agger
