James Garner - Possible Secretarial Evidence
I have some evidence that James Garner might be secretarial
I sent a letter, a picture, index card, and SASE to his address in Los Angeles. I got my picture and card back signed, but the envelope was postmarked at the Kilmer Post Office, which is in Edison, New Jersey.
Only possible explanation I can possibly think of is that maybe since I am in Pennsylvania, it traveled from California and ended up in Jersey, where it was postmarked? Or, the envelope was sent from Jersey, which means he more than likely didn't sign them.

Maybe he was on the road at the time and took some fan mail with him, & when he spotted a post office decided to send them out.
I'm pretty sure he signs authentic. Just because it was mailed from a different state than you sent it to, doesn't mean it's secretarial.

Thanks for your input. But I don't think he was traveling and decided to send them out - I have heard of Jersey postmarks on things from him before. Strange, because he does not have a home here - he lives in Los Angeles.RYAN J. wrote:Maybe he was on the road at the time and took some fan mail with him, & when he spotted a post office decided to send them out.

You may have a point there. All these replys are coming from his fan club, His address is the one that we send them too??
Every one has the same post code?? add to this that the date mark, on my letter would have put him in hospital at the time? (He had a stoke the day before) so he could not have possibly signed it.
And yes he does live in Los Angeles, so then someone collects his post, takes it to New Jersey, then sends them off??
Answer: there all secretarials

More Proof: his fan club Address is: the James Garner Fan Club, Pat Persico president, 33 Woodbury road, Edison NJ 08820.
And on one website, it said this is the only address, that James Garner would accept fan mail.
Why?? because yes sir he dont sign them, but some sec does.
Now give me proof that they're authentic PLEASE.
Re: James Garner - Possible Secretarial Evidence
Oh the killer blow, on this one is the distance from the address, we send to and the postmark is over 2700 miles, so he gets fanmail sends them 2700 miles to be signed, then there all sent out.
Another fake exposed: bring them on.

Hi autoland!
You have a very good point there.
Does anyone have an in person example of his autograph?
I'll add him to the secretarial list.
Thanks again,
zanne

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone does. I've searched all over the internet, and can't find one.zanne wrote:Does anyone have an in person example of his autograph?

Re: James Garner - Possible Secretarial Evidence
I have an IP from James Garner, I'll try to upload a picture later today.
Re: James Garner - Possible Secretarial Evidence
At the end of the day, even if the autographs match, the IP (And I believe it does) It's still 110% that the TTM are SECRETARIALS.
I said it in my last post, he recieves the post/mail then sends it 2700 miles away to be signed and then sent to us??? (Sorry without a los angeles postmark) its a secretarial.
Ok let's put it this way: I live in london England, and say if I where a celeb, and if you sent me fanmail, then I sent that fanmail, to Ghana to be signed by someone there, well it's sure not me, who's signing it.
What I could do if everyone is happy, is to write to the fanclub, who answers all he mail, and get them to explain (if they can)
