Paul Newman

Unread post by macaoidh »

I know ebay isn't a great place to buy autographs from and even though I know this I decided to try and buy this autograph of Paul Newman. The dealer has sold many items before but most are from the sports world. She has 100% positive feedback and before I bid on this autograph I was wondering if anyone thought it was authentic?

Hi macaoidh! ;-)

Hmm, it's a difficult one but I compared with many in persons from AutographWorld and I'm leaning towards authentic. {up} Here's in person examples from AutographWorld:

It's one of the rare more "neat" Newman autographs I've seen, usually it would look like this:

To conclude, I think it's authentic. {up} Remember, definitly not all autographs on eBay is fake - there's lots of authentic ones too but you really have to know what to look for, then it will be easy to spot fakes from real ones. :)

Good luck,

Thanks. I have been studying his autograph a lot and I looked at known examples of authentic autographs of his from autographworld and other reputable sources. I was leaning towards authentic but it never hurts to get a second opinion. Thanks again

Hi there.
First of all never judge the authenticity of the itme with sellers "feedback" as that proves nothing.

It would be helpful if you can provide the link of the item.

For now I would say it is authentic.

I know that feedback doesnt tell if it's authentic or not but I thought I would state it anyway. Ill try and post a link tomorrow.
