Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera

About 7 years ago my mum went into our local framing shop and got talking to the owners who she had known for a long time as she was a regular customer. She asked if anyone ever left them things to frame and never came back. At which point the owner said yes, and said he had something a friend of his wanted him to frame, but that was over 25 years ago and he still had it. Apparently (although we can't remember if this was exactly what was said), the man (Paul) went to some sort of convention or other and asked them to sign the print he took along, which they did. When my mum realised what it was, she asked if she could buy it, and after paying £25, brought it home.

I would be quite upset if this wasn't genuine, but I would like to know if the picture that's been on our wall all this time is a fake or the real thing.

It does look authentic. I have a Hanna and Barbera autograph and it looks similar to mine.

Thank you.

I have had a look around, and it does seem similar to other signatures. I haven't found anything so big that has been signed though.

Do you have any idea what both their signatures together would be worth? Not taking into account what they signed it on? ;-)

my best suggestion to you would be to look on Autograph world, and see what they're selling for. I know that's not a great answer, but I don't really know what else to suggest to you. I don't sell my autographs, but I would imagine that at a minimum the two signatures together would be worth at least $75-$100 dollars
