Meg Cabot...Real or Fake?

I've been wondering this for a while now....is this autograph real? The one I'm talking about is the purple bookplate with just the signature. 
It's the one that's sideways. Thank you so much! This has been puzzling me since I got it. Someone had said it was authentic, but another person who had gotten theirs (offsite) had said it was a PP.
