Re: Ebay Seller "shadowl" Real Or Fake
A few years back they were very trustworthy. But in the last 2 years or so, I have stopped purchasing from them, I started finding the occasional secretarial autograph and (although very rarely) even fakes. That personally made me uncomfortable buying from them. I still do believe most of shadowland collectibles stock is authentic, just be a bit cautious and do a little research on the autograph you are looking to purchase just to make sure.

UACC dealer means absolutely nothing; I am pretty sure that if you are willing to pay their membership fees, you are a UACC Registered Dealer. I have seen LOADS of Obama forgeries from UACC Dealers.
I cannot give you my opinion on the actual eBay seller, though.

I think you are confused with UACC dealers and UACC members. Anyone can become a UACC member by paying a small member ship fee. It means nothing really, it's just like any other club fee and gives you a quarterly magazine. The UACC's registered dealer program is different, and not just anyone can join it. They need vouchers from other registered dealers and are checked out by the club before being admitted to the program. Of course this doesn't mean that you can just blindly trust all the UACC registered dealers either, but there are a lot of honest dealers out there that do follow the UACC's code of ethics.wlperie wrote:UACC dealer means absolutely nothing; I am pretty sure that if you are willing to pay their membership fees, you are a UACC Registered Dealer. I still would not recommend letting the UACC dealer title influence you decision. I have seen many forgeries from UACC dealers.
