Do you mean by a "copy" a copy of an augtograph or a pre-print etc? If you mean the later, there is a pretty good posting about fakes and how to spot them from sometime ago in the general discussion forum.

Probably the quickest explanation is that a pre-print looks like the signature is a part of the photo. Not like the signature has been written on the photo. There a a couple "tricks" to identify a pre-print.

Take the photo and tilt it under the light at a certain angle. You can tell if it is printed or was actually signed by doing this. Also if it is a common PP that a bunch of people have recieved you know it is a PP as all the sigs look the same and were printed!.

ok thanks ive looked through the forum and people who have recieved the same autograph as me and the autograph looks slightly different so hopefuly real
