Ken Griffey Jr.

Unread post by @sigsandstuff »

Hello everyone! I bought this baseball on Ebay about 7-8 years ago. It came with a certificate from Scoreboard. I know that's a pretty good company but the cert is very generic. It just says that the item accompanying this certificate was signed by Ken Griffey Jr. Can anyone tell by looking at this sig that it's authentic? Thanks for your feedback! Really appreciate it!

I don't think it's authentic. Not to mention Scoreboard COA's were the most faked COA's in Ebay history. I would not touch an item with a Scoreboard COA.

this is very true but the auto looks good here. there are a ton of authentic and fake scoreboard autos even cards that have the stamp on it i've seen have fake autos.

you have to use judgement and it appears this griffey is real to me

That being said...I know back when he was a big deal, I knew some guys from the Seattle area that were scary good at doing them... and I am sure they dumped 100s or 1000s of them into the marketplace.... so if they could do them that good, I am sure others could too.
