The only reason I thought it might be legit...was since it looked it was from a while ago when he first got popular and had time to sign his name...I guess GAI can be faked also?

Like I said, not even close. I've gotten Pierce's autograph since his Remington Steele days and I tell you I have neve seen his autograph look like this.

If I was looking for a Brosnan this isn't what I would purchase - Who was the dealer?? (If you don’t want to say on the forum, let me know in a PM)

Obviously his signature is going to be different when he is concluding a letter versus when he is being harassed by fans to sign photographs. It is also dependent on the time in his career from which it was signed. The style and flow remain consistent with his signature.
The signature is most likely authentic and GAI has a pretty good reputation.
Best,
Mike

When Hollywoodman got Brosnan, I too was there and there wasn't a lot of fans. There were maybe 10 people but we all conducted ourselves in a well behaved manner. Pierce was calm and took his time signing. So, again I think the signed letter is a fake or secretarial. Also I've been in this hobby for 30 years so I've gotten Pierce many times and as early on in his Remington Steele days. I have NEVER seen Pierce sign like this.

Thanks for everyone's help. Do any of you have a signed 3x5 card by him that you would be willing to sell?
