I did this about 2 months ago-

I emailed asking for an autograph, though I don't remember where I got the email... It's probably someone at leavesden studios (I still have the email address)... and about a couple of days later I got an email back saying that the picture was pre- signed (in bold letters) but it looks to me like it's the same as everyone elses'. (Though I swore that I could smell sharpie... and there are some places where the signature looks like the sharpie messed up a bit and it doesn't really look like a pp..). After I recieved that email and said that I still want it even though it won't be personalized, I got it in about a week. Here is the exact email:

Dear Desiree,

Thank you very much for your e-mail which has been forwarded to me by Markham & Froggatt regarding Emma Watson.

As you can imagine, Emma received thousands of requests, of a similar nature from people all around the world. As much as she would like to respond personally to each one, this is physically impossible for her to do so, so for this reason Emma will be unable to reply to your letter.

Emma is very keen that each letter is answered so she has pre-signed a limited edition picture as compensation. Please let me know where you wish this to be sent.

Thank you for your ongoing support and we wish you all the best.

Many thanks & kind regards,

Louise

Sorry, I don't have a pic of it up.

How can we judge the authenticity of the autograph if we can't see a scan?

It's kinda hard to judge the authenticity of a photograph if there is no scan of the photo

I had a similar message to that (saying pre-signed) for Kate Winslet, when it was in fact a PP. So just because of what it says doesn't mean it to be authentic. Scans would help (as said..)
