Absolutely a forgery. I would be careful when buying Beatles autographs on ebay. Tons of forgeries such as the one you posted are available in abundance there.

Looks pretty good to me. Quite possible it was done at a HMV signing (He signed hundreds at these), hence the pen starting to fade.

The first one is close but not close enough to say real for me.

Do you mean me? I'm not the one who EVERYDAY is asking for someone's help in authenticating an autograph. That's why I question if that person is serious about buying.
