Authentic Heath Ledger

Unread post by Dobbie »

Hi Guys,

Ive been offered this item, and would appreciate any input. Apparently this autogrpah comes with ebay papers where it states that this was obtained prior to Heath Ledger`s death. Now Im not saing that this makes it legit, as we all know how much fakes are being posted on ebay these days! A photo is provided with the autograph, but once again this can be obtained anywhere, your assistance regarding this signature would be greatly appreciated!

It is difficult to say because it is definitely a fast signature. But it looked like the other authentic autographs I've seen. But personally I wouldn't risk it.

I'm going to say No. The reason I say this is not based on the quality of the autograph, but rather that I've seen that 'proof photo' before. Now I may of course be wrong, but if I saw a 'proof photo' one place and see it again popping up elsewhere, I would be hesitant to buy or trade from both sellers.

Thats the issue I have with this autograph, ironically it has nothing to do with the signature, but the photo provided. That photo has been taken from an angle that would suggest that the photographer is over the rails as to where the fans are requesting his autograph, I reckon that is a snapshot from a program of some sort. As for the photo, Brownie you are correct. I stumbled across this exact photograph myself about a year ago on an autograph website. The seller has the necessary paperwork showing that this was sold back in 2006 on Ebay for $11.99!. But when I search for the original power seller, nothing seems to come up.

Doesn't look right to me. The Heath part of the signature seems to resemble his signature, but the Ledger part doesn't. Rushed or not. And like the others said the proof photo isn't really proof at all.

Yeah,
The "e" in ledger is too evident if that makes sense, not sure if I`ve seen one like that.
