I don't understand what that has to do with it. An auto-pen machine replicates the signature of someone using an authentic signed template that is put into the machine. The item then is sent through the machine, and there you go. It is 100% auto-pen, sorry.

Thanks for your help, everyone. for some reason i didnt think ap could be done on something you send. it still looks like a pen though...

It was "signed" using an autopen, which is compatible with every writing implement. So, yes, what you see are the marks of a ballpoint pen, but no, it was not signed by Sarah Palin, nor any other human for that matter. Congratulations on your success though.
