Ronald Reagan?

Unread post by morwesong »

Hello!

I have an autograph from Ronald Reagan that my grandfather received 40 years ago, and I was wondering if it was authentic or if it was secretarial.

My grandfather went out to California in August of 1970, and he went to the Governor's Office to pay his respects to Mr. Reagan. My grandfather was always a huge supporter of Ronald Reagan and wanted to get a chance to meet him. Unfortunately, Reagan was in Los Angeles when my grandparents stopped by his office. A short while later they received a typed letter that thanked them for stopping by and apologized for the fact that Reagan had not been there to greet them personally. The letter has a signature on it, and included with the letter was a sheet of paper with Ronald Reagan's picture and a personalized autograph for my grandfather.

Here is the autographed picture:

The signature on the letter looks almost exactly like this one. Any ideas on whether it's sec or authentic?
