Steve Backshall

Hi everyone
a few years ago i was in a Reptile Shop and i saw a few copies of Steve Backshall's Venom! I already knew about the book, and i asked the shop owner how much and he told me and said they were signed. He said Steve signed 250 copies (i think) at another Reptile shop and he bought a few. Anyway, i was just wondering if anyone could give me confirmation it is real.
