In 1986/87 I was a police officer and I called out to Carmell CA and asked for the Mayor, Mr Eastwood. I spoke to his sec and told her that I was a fan and a police officer and wanted to see if I may please have an auto. She asked about me being a police officer and I told her yes and mailed her a copy of my business card and then sometime later I recieved my picture.

That's a pretty cool story behinde that autograph! From what i hear now, he sends out sec's so you're lucky you got one back then

Seeing as you got this WAY back then, I have no doubt it's real. Wasn't until pretty recently he started using secs!

the d at the end of his surname is quite different to the 'secretarials' which are argued about here and elsewhere, if you look at google images the in person ones with credible stories attached have this d, as opposed to the supposed 'secretarials', all of which have a very angular and unbroken d at the end.

I know that other debates rage far and wide across these boards concerning isitreal, but there are some studies of his signature here

According to them he has been using a secretary since 1985. I disagree with them on some things, they seem credible on others.

I am not sure but mine does have a strong resemblence to the sec one from the 80's in the last db link. Anyways, I will not be selling it so it could or could not be..probably the later but maybe one day.
