Randy Savage & Miss Elizabeth

Unread post by WWEFreak666 »

I don't know how rare this really is. I have a feeling it's extremely rare to see an autograph from both Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage. The signatures seem authentic, as the points from where the marker started and ended are quite obvious. This was not signed for me, instead my aunt and uncle went to an auction and got a bunch of wrestling stuff for $20 and the autograph happened to be in a suitcase with a bunch of WWF/WWE magazines.

Now the only thing concerning to me is the fact that it's very rare to see Randy sign an autograph like that, he often only put "Macho Man", instead this time he got personal and even included "To". Regardless, this seems authentic to me.

Let me all know what you think, at least if you guys think it would be worth decent money?

Since it is a personalized photo it is worth a lot less on the autograph market then regular signed photo. It is worth more then a personalized photo normally would be because Randy Savage is dead now along with Miss Elizabeth.

Someone is selling the exact same type of personalized photo on Ebay for just $75.

Despite what some on here like to think a guy named Jason does not want to buy a signed photo that is addressed to Tom. It is just the way that the autograph market works.

It looks good to me. The only thing that seems off is the signatures look to be a very different shade than the Best Wishes and 'To Larry' But the sigs look good. That also could be because of the scan. I would hold on to that. EVen if it is personalized to someone else I would keep it in my collection.

Thanks guys. I do plan on holding onto it and not selling it until many many years down the road whenever I sell my entire wrestling collection, which is still growing to this day.

As for the shading, it looks just like that, the "Best Wishes" is darker than any of the other writing, which is really odd.

They could have been at a signing, and signed all of the pictures before hand and then would personalize them as the person came down the line. But that's only an assumption. =)

Sure sounded like to me that he wanted to sell them asking if they were actually worth anything to anyone and as I told him they aren't due to them being personalized.

You sure seem to think you know a lot about autograph collecting claiming that you have been doing it since 1994 but likely are just a high school student who refuses to listen to someone that actually knows a thing or two about collecting autographs.

If someone really wants the autograph, they won't care whether or not it's personalized. Especially if both the people who signed it have passed away. It's called supply & demand.

And nope - defnitely not in high school, much older than that. Tryyyy again. =)

I personally dont really care if an autograph is inscribed or not, and i have a personal collection of a few thousand autographs. I understand the position that some collectors take where if your name is Joe you dont want an autograph inscribed to Harry, for example. But i think and feel that part of the reason we collect autographs is to have the handwriting of a celeb, be it on a photo, letter, card , or document. So wouldnt it stand to reason that the more writing on the item the more attractive it is? Just my opinion!!!
Rust never sleeps! The futures uncertain and the end is always near!!!!
