Cheers cast old success

Unread post by DR35150 »

Thought I'd pull my most cherished autographed photo out of its frame and put it up for show and tell. Not sure if this is the proper forum so moderator feel free to move if you must.
I lived in Phoenix for a time and every so often I would drive out to Paramount studios and attend a taping of my all time favorite Comedy Cheers.
Sometime around 1990 give or take a year after a taping I noticed that when they were done filming the cast would stick around and sign these photos. So I asked if I could get one. And they were happy to oblige. Given, none of the actors personalized it for me (a assistant added the "to Donald".But I am 100% sure each and every signature is authentic so I don't want to hear otherwise. So heres my baby!

Your welcome. But why send it to "Is my Autograph authentic?" I know it is and do NOT welcome any comments to the contrary. Just wanted to share.

I wouldnt say lucky. Whenever I went to a filming I had to get to Paramount about 3am the night before to get in line for tickets. When they opened they distributed numbered passes that didnt guarantee entry. Luckily (guess it was lucky, lol) I did get in everytime thanks to getting there so early and getting good numbers.
