I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say it was fake. This was signed IN PERSON (with proof) while my friend lived in Cleveland and LeBron was STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL. LeBron had a stack of the same paper he signed in is pocket just for the reason of autographs as he was already a "celebrity" in high school.

What are you basing your FAKE assumption on? That it doesn't match his certified autos? LeBron has changed his signature FIVE times since he was drafted. Even his certified cards have different signatures on them. Athletes change their autograph all the time. Case in point: I have a ball and a bat signed in person by Braves catcher Brian McCann two years apart and they look like two different people signed them and I watched him sign both.

Don't assume something is fake just because you have never seen it before.

If you're so confident then... why post it in the "Is my auto authentic?"

Show the proof!


I have seen pics of his graph while in HS. It's not like you have the only one out there.

This looks like someone took waaaaayyy to much time trying to make a bad copy of it.

I did not post it in "Is my auto authentic" it was moved by the admin. You are entitled to your opinion but unless you work for a authentication company, it it just your PERSONAL opinion. BTW, your post about me pointing out sigs change was funny. I deserved that one.

LOL! That is something we can both agree on about authentication services being wrong. As far as the auto goes, I have no reason to dis trust the guy I got it from. I deal with him all the time as far as mini helmets, footballs, ect. I am a Mavericks fan so I could care less if I have LeBron's auto (haha). My son is a Heat fan so I gave it to him. If I do send it in and it is not legit, I am out nothing since I didn't pay for it so I guess it works out either way in the end.

If you know its real, thats what matters.

I put up a post, still here somewhere asking if my Rober downey jr autograph was real. I got such comments s it is 'definitely fake' even though i got it myself, and there are even youtube videos of the premier with me in it getting the autograph from him, yet according to some it was 'fake' and 'looks bad'.

So if you know its real ignore what others say, even if you don't know its real others on here may say its bs, even though it may be 100% genuine.

He did sign like that at one point in time in High School. He had like 10 different ones. Hard to say, but I would lean towards real.
