Got a response back from Jennifer Lawrence...I sent an index card to the set of American Hustle back in February and today I got this 4x6 postmarked from Kentucky. I'm not sure if its authentic or a secretarial. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/534/wtb8.jpg/ Thoughts on authenticity are welcome because I'm not sure on this one.

People say that anything out of KY is a secretarial. However, I don't think I'd know an authentic Jennifer Lawrence signature anyway! Look at google images of it. There are no two alike. The one I received from KY earlier this summer looks totally different from yours. So maybe it's authentic?! Who knows....

Sadly, it is a secretarial...

One of the very few venues that Jennifer said that she authentically signed from was "The Hunger Games" venue. Since she is so famous now, Jennifer said that she has an assistant to handle and reply to MOST of her fanmail.

Yeah I already knew all of that...but it looks as if she got a new assistant based on the other secretarial signatures....just doesn't make sense...I'd rather a no reply then get a fake signature.

Yeah sadly I think it is a sec.

I hate that people use a secretary. I mean, just set aside some time once a month or something and sign your own fan mail. I received an authentic signature from Sir Ian McKellen while he was filming pickups for The Hobbit and the new X-Men movie.......Just venting my frustration!

If they want to sign great. If they don't want to sign that's great too. I could have probably forged the signature betterthan some of these secs ..

I would rather have them not sign at all than use a secretary. This does look as if it's a new person handling her mail-perhaps a new secretary or the usual one is just on vacation lol

I personally think that secs are a low act. Celebs have no obligation whatsoever to reply to fanmail (even though it is very nice when they do so) but if they don't want to reply, then why send a sec?? Why not just bin it all? ?
